#RIPCartoonNetwork has been trending on the internet for quite a while now. The news started from an account called ‘Animation Workers Ignited’ on X (Twitter) that shared an animation claiming that Cartoon Network is dead. The account also aimed at the other networks facing a similar situation due to less viewership.

The rumors reached the Cartoon Network company and they clarified the situation. The network stated that “Cartoon Network would like to clarify that there is no truth to the speculation that the network or the studio is shutting down. With a number of recently announced greenlights, we remain committed to continually investing in innovative content that entertains and inspires our viewers across the globe.”

The video posted aimed at the company’s greed and the big studios firing staff to cut down their cost and improve the finances, allowing the CEOs and other big position holders better earnings.

The video urged the viewers to share their favorite shows from the Network and also raised awareness to stand up for the cause and the wrong happening with the people working on the lower levels. The video gained more than four million views in less than an hour.

By sharing their favorite cartoons, a few of them also raised their voices against the problems happening with them. Many animators spoke in favor of the video claiming that they lost their jobs due to this happening within the network company.

But Cartoon Network is not shutting down in the near future as the company themselves cleared it and claimed the rumors are false. The account that posted the video is with the animators union and spreading awareness for this cause.
