‘The View’ host was quite condescending towards the signing reality show. She blames it for being the cause of the decline of the American culture. But in the light of Goldberg’s history of problematic stands on ‘The View,’ people were quick to tear her to pieces. Twitter has come at her hard for being too critical of a reality show.

Despite being signaled by her producer to stop calling out the singing show, Goldberg went on with her tirade against ‘American Idol,’ which has been in the news recently for mistreating its contestants.

‘The View’ host was full of hard words about the general perception of reality television, making the audience subservient, “Once we gave people the ability to judge other people, I think we ran amok with it, and it’s gone out of control… They invited the public to decide who that person was. Once we did that, it began us in a cycle.”
