Jenna Ortega Makes Shocking Revelation About Her Horrible MCU Experience And The Possibility Of Her Return

Jenna Ortega has become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after young stars ever since her role in ‘Wednesday’. However, many fans forget that long before her rise to fame, Ortega had a small role in ‘Iron Man 3’.

Her role was so drastically cut that she barely appeared on screen. Now, over a decade later, Ortega has addressed whether she would ever return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and her answer is far from enthusiastic.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jenna Ortega was reminded that she should join the MCU, to which she quickly responded, “I did it once.” She went on to explain, “It was one of the first jobs I ever did. They took all my lines out. I’m in Iron Man 3 for a quick second. I take up the frame, I have one leg, and I’m the vice president’s daughter.”

It’s clear from Ortega’s tone that she doesn’t have the fondest memories of her brief MCU experience. Having an early role cut so significantly is likely disappointing for any actor. Paul Rudd, who was also part of the interview and plays Ant-Man in the MCU, tried to keep things optimistic.

He pointed out that Marvel has a habit of revisiting old characters and could easily bring Ortega back into the fold. “Marvel is very good at, like, kind of laying those breadcrumbs, and so it might very well be that you come back,” he said. “They should be so lucky to have Jenna Ortega in their franchise.” However, Ortega shut the idea down. “They even took my name away. I count that, and then I move on,” she stated.

Despite her experience with ‘Iron Man 3’, Ortega remains one of the most frequently fan-cast actresses for various Marvel roles. However, Ortega’s response suggests that she doesn’t feel any attachment to the MCU. So, if Marvel were to offer her a compelling, leading role, she might reconsider. But as of now, she seems perfectly content moving on.

One of the biggest discussions in Hollywood right now is the role of artificial intelligence in filmmaking. The Russo brothers, the directors behind the Infinity safa are returning to the MCU for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. In an interview with THR, they shared their thoughts on AI, calling it a “valuable tool” that will likely be used in the future of filmmaking.

Anthony Russo explained that AI, like all technological advancements, should be approached carefully. “We have to approach AI the same way we approach all technological innovations,” he said. “It’s potentially a valuable tool, but it’s the kind of tool that artists always have to remain in control of.

Joe Russo added to the discussion in a separate interview with The Times, revealing that AI had already been used for voice modulation in their latest Netflix film, ‘The Electric State’. He explained, “It’s something any ten-year-old could do after watching a TikTok video.” His comments suggest that AI’s role in Hollywood is already more common than people realize.

However, AI in filmmaking remains a controversial subject. Many filmmakers and actors fear that increased AI use could lead to job losses and a lack of human creativity in storytelling. Others worry that studios might rely too heavily on AI-generated content rather than paying writers and artists fairly. So, will AI be used in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’?The Russo brothers’ stance suggests that AI could play a role in the film. However, the controversy and backlash AI usage receives might be a barrier as Marvel is trying to gain its audiences back.
