They took all my lines out. I’m in Iron Man 3 for a quick second. I take up the frame, I have one leg, and I’m the vice president’s daughter.”

It’s clear from Ortega’s tone that she doesn’t have the fondest memories of her brief MCU experience. Having an early role cut so significantly is likely disappointing for any actor. Paul Rudd, who was also part of the interview and plays Ant-Man in the MCU, tried to keep things optimistic.

I count that, and then I move on,” she stated.
Despite her experience with ‘Iron Man 3’, Ortega remains one of the most frequently fan-cast actresses for various Marvel roles. However, Ortega’s response suggests that she doesn’t feel any attachment to the MCU. So, if Marvel were to offer her a compelling, leading role, she might reconsider. But as of now, she seems perfectly content moving on.
