Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are on cloud nine after their surprise wedding in Las Vegas. Their rocky relationship history finally got a happy ending as the lovebirds tied the knot after twenty years of knowing each other! But it seems like Affleck was reluctant about the major step.
The actor is yet to publicly acknowledge the wedding, whereas Jlo has been posting a massive dump of photos and videos from her Vegas wedding. Her team has also spilt all the deets about their nuptials.

Jennifer Lopez Wanted To Marry Sooner For Fear Of Ben Affleck Getting Cold Feet
The ‘Gone Girl‘ actor had to be dragged by his girlfriend to the nearest chapel. Reports suggest that Ben had the chance of getting cold feet and ultimately backing out. A Hollywood source told Entertainment Tonight, “[Lopez] has been ready to get married since the night that Ben proposed. She wanted to lock this down and remove any chance for cold feet ASAP!”
Though it looks like Jlo is happy with her choice. She shared all about the intimate wedding with her fans through her ‘OnTheJLo’ newsletter, Sunday. There she mentioned that they were joined by their kids at the shock nuptials at a drive-through wedding chapel. But Page Six reported that the only ones in attendance were Lopez’s child, Emme, 14, and Affleck’s Sera, 13.
They now share five kids in total between them – Emme has a twin brother, Max, and Affleck also shares Violet, 16, and Sam, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. While they were tying the knot, Garner was soaking up the sun in Lake Tahoe over the weekend. She gave no clue as to how she was feeling about Ben’s wedding.
“Ben did tell Jen about the wedding, but I’m told that it was only Friday at the earliest. It was very, very minimally planned in advance and was largely spur of the moment. Violet stayed home because she’s extremely loyal to her mom,” one source told The Post.
The newly-married couple celebrated with pizza and Diet Coke on a private jet back to LA and looked happy together.
Ben Affleck’s Ex-Wife Gennifer Garner Blamed For His Addiction Problems
Garner, 50, and Affleck, 49, were married from 2005 to 2018. She has maintained her silence as her ex has enjoyed publicized romances with ‘Saturday Night Live‘ producer Lindsay Shookus and Cuban actress Ana de Armas, who recently revealed that she quit LA over the attention surrounding their relationship. She told Elle, “It became a little bit too much. There’s no escape. There’s no way out.”
Garner had always been a devoted wife to Ben and stood by the Oscar winner through his battles with addiction. Friends were left furious on her behalf back in December after the star told Howard Stern that he would probably be drinking if he was still married to Garner.
At the time, one industry insider who knows the ex-couple told The Post, “It’s disgusting … Jen has been the only one picking him up time and time again when he’s done horrible things — fallen off the wagon or worse.”
Another industry source added, “Ben’s comments were ridiculous and you could see that fans of Jen were so upset too. But, of course, she has never wanted him to be anything other than happy and sober and I’m sure she wishes him well [on his new marriage].”
Garner is currently filming the Apple+ thriller ‘The Last Thing He Told Me,’ based on the best-selling book by Laura Dave. It follows a wife whose husband disappears.
Amongst all this, one thing is clear: J.Lo got her happy ending. She has called Affleck the love of her life.
