‘The Princess Diaries‘ franchise, which included two movies starring the iconic Anne Hathaway, amassed a loyal and dedicated fanbase. The movies, almost two decades old, are still watched with the same enthusiasm and wonder.
The last ‘Princess Diaries‘ movie was released in 2004. Since then, fans have awaited the third part, but it never came to production. The world of Genovia, Mia Thermopolis, and love was all too beautiful and glamorous to not want to miss it. ‘The Princess Diaries 3’: Production, Cast And Release Date
Aadrita Mukherjee is apparently working on the threequel to ‘The Princess Diaries‘. The plot details are yet unknown, however, it is confirmed that the third installment will continue Mia Thermopolis’s story from where it left off.
As for the cast, the audience is wholly rooting for the return of Anne Hathaway reprising her lead character role, along with Julie Andrews, and Chris Pine. However, according to Variety, Hathaway’s involvement in the movie is still unsure. Previously talking to Entertainment Tonight of a possibility of ‘The Princess Diaries 3,’ Hathway said, “I would more than entertain it, I’m pulling for it. If there’s any way to get Julie Andrews involved, I think we would make it work.” For now, we can only wait for more details to come through.
