The arduous efforts to find the perfect woman to portray the pop icon, Madonna, in her biopic have come to a “starry” end, as per reports. After scouting for the actress, Madonna’s biopic will star the ‘Ozark’ star, Julia Garner. Although the biopic itself had hindrances when the writer Diablo Cody exited the project, things are back on track. The film has now found its leading face!
Julia Garner Is Madonna’s First Choice
‘The Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ actress seemed to impress Madonna from the inception of the audition process. As per The Hollywood Reporter, the process was a “grueling” one. The actresses had to go through intense dance routines with the Queen of Pop’s music. There were reports that ‘Black Widow’ star Florence Pugh, ‘Euphoria”s Alexa Damie, Bebe Rexha, and Sky Ferreira were competing for the prestigious role.
