Meghan Markle And Prince Harry “Scrambling” For Entertainment Deals

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married in 2018. Since their marriage, they have had many ups and downs including Meghan’s shocking declaration. Meghan hated England and never wants to come back.

Following all the problems in their relationship, the couple decided to make their exit from the Royal Family. This came as a huge letdown to the royal family and Harry ended up losing the trust of his brother, Prince Williams.

Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Deal Seem To Be Unproductive

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently signed a multi-million dollar deal with Spotify. They have also signed a deal with Netflix just a few months after their exit from the royal family. Tina Brown, the royal biographer of the new book The palace papers made a statement about the new duke and dutches of Sussex. Ms. Brown has her interview with the Washington Post where she claimed that their entertainment deals are “going nowhere.”

Ms Brown said: “There is the question of the whole entertainment deals what they did. I think if they had more savvy advisers could tell them the whole problem with entertainment deals is that you have to deliver hits. They’re great, anyone if they’re lucky can sign a major entertainment deal but where’s the product.”

“They’ve signed with Netflix, what have we seen? Nothing really besides this upcoming documentary with Invictus which I think will be great. I think it’s a good idea but you know, creating entertainment that works is very hard to do,” she further added.

Brown Explains The Reasons Behind Meghan And Prince Harry’s Failure

The royal editor, Tina Brown in her statement to the Washington Post has also explained the failure of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

She said, “They both completely underestimated what it was going to be like to be without the palace platform. The palace has amazing convening power, every major invitation in the world comes through that conduit. All of that is now gone.”

Brown then explained, “Meghan doesn’t really have a brand – you feel that she is grasping at the ‘Twitter caring’ of the moment. Vaccinations, Ukraine, Women’s rights, my 40th birthday, let’s have a mentoring scheme.”

“Nothing is really going anywhere for Meghan. And the whole problem, with entertainment deal is you have to produce. They’ve signed with Netflix but what have we seen? Nothing. Creating entertainment that works is very hard to do,” she went on to say.

Brown further claimed, “Their Spotify podcast is going nowhere. Netflix is not doing so well are they going to renew that contract?”
