Royal commentator Katey Schofield is pulling the curtain behind Meghan Markle‘s canceled Spotify deal. She dropped a major bombshell, revealing how the podcast ‘Archetypes’ was recorded. Spotify Cancels Its $20 Million Deal With The Duchess Of Sussex
In a joint statement, Spotify and Meghan Markle announced that they were parting ways. Meghan Markle’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast hosted luminaries like Judd Apatow, Trevor Noah, and Serena Williams. But it wasn’t enough to save the Duchess of Sussex’s $20 million contract with the audio streamer.
Kinsey Schofield believes that Spotify terminated the contract due to the former ‘Suits’ actress’ shocking lack of content. Over three years, the podcast only provided 13 episodes worth of content. Spotify was supposed to monetize the long-term content from the couple. The royal expert also claims Spotify lost interest and pulled the plug since the couple wasn’t working together.
