Selena Gomez Visits Volleyball Team In Telluride, Colorado
While in town, Selena Gomez promoted ‘Emilia Pérez‘, her film that was shown at the Telluride Film Festival. It seems she was drawn to a handwritten note on bright orange poster board that was affixed to a pole on Main Street that asked her to come over for a visit and sing the national anthem.
The sign read, “Selena Gomez. Please sing the National Anthem at one of [our] home games: Fri 6:00pm, Sat 1:00 ~ THS Volleyball Team.”

Gomez did turn up to the high school gym to interact with the students, but it’s uncertain if she truly sang the national anthem. She even posted a glimpse of her visit on her Instagram account. One of the videos show her surprising the kids and telling them that she read the sign.
In the caption of her Instagram post she wrote, “They asked!! Couldn’t help it, it’s my first time in Telluride!”
Selena Gomez In ‘Emilia Perez’
Director and co-writer Jaques Audiard’s Spanish-language comedy-drama-musical ‘Emilia Pérez’ is one of the most talked-about anticipated films of the year. The film garnered an 11-minute standing ovation after its Cannes Film Festival screening in May.
The critically acclaimed movie gained even more recognition when Adriana Paz, Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Zoe Saldaña won the festival’s Best Actress Award for their respective roles. The film is expected to hit theatres this November, with a digital release set for the same month on Netflix.
