It has been a while since the DCEU fans have seen Henry Cavill in the Kryptonian suit! The last time we saw him was in 2017’s ‘Justice League’. Many rumors came, but they did not concretize the future of the superhero. Fans lost hope for the return of Cavill in the red cape. Warner Bros. and DCEU introduced ‘Supergirl’. Nevertheless, we have reached the sunshine part at the end of the tunnel!
Since the promotional activities of the Dwayne Johnson starrer ‘Black Adam’ began, strong rumors were emerging with every Johnson interview. On the cost of getting booed at the Comic Con, the Rock commented that the probability of Superman winning against Black Adam depends upon who is playing him. In a recent red carpet interview, he gave away an important detail in the film, but also the film itself gave a massive surprise to the Superhero fans. At this point, let’s just warn you about the spoilers ahead.

Black Adam Mid-Credits Confirm The Arrival Of Henry Cavill As Superman
Since the merger between Warner Bros. and DC Comics, CEO David Zaslav has pushed for the revival of the DCEU franchise. The fans equally complained that the franchise is lacking creative coherence when it comes to introducing, and reviving the character while keeping the narrative alive. Zaslav allowed the in-house directors of different franchises to take over as the creative consultant. The CEO approached Todd Philips. But, the main question that remained answered was that of the iconic superhero who started the DCEU with ‘Man Of Steel’.
However, Dwayne Johnson brought his star power and persistence to bring two eminent superhero characters the celluloid. Like he put his foot down for Black Adam, he did it similarly for Superman. The mid-credits sequence reveals what to expect in this revival phase of DCEU.
In a scene between the A.R.G.U.S director Amanda Waller and Black Adam in Khandaq, she expresses her annoyance toward him for escaping the cell. But, in arrogance, Black Adam quips that no force can stop him. However, a force of nature arrives with the dust of soil in the air making it difficult to recognize the person. There it is after waiting for five years, the fans finally saw a glimpse of the Kryptonian.
Twitter Is Happy With The Actor’s Comeback As Superman
Since Justice League, the fans have had glimpses, little cameos, of Henry Cavill. Post ‘Justice League’, the superhero had a cameo in ‘Shazam!’ and ‘Peacemaker’. But, the mid-credit scene gave the fans a respite and they extended gratitude towards Dwayne for bringing the most-loved DCEU character back!
