HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones‘ is considered one of the best TV shows to date. The show ran for eight seasons and is still on the binge-watch list of many viewers. But, what if there’s a spin-off series? Would it be able to match the fervor of the original? Well, we might find out soon.
HBO is on its way to creating a ‘Game Of Thrones‘ spin-off on Jon Snow, essayed by Kit Harington. The series will be a sequel to the original show. ‘GOT‘ fans had different reactions to the latest update.
‘Game Of Thrones’ To Return With Spin-Off Series: Details
According to The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has begun production on its first sequel to its blockbuster fantasy drama, a live-action spin-off series focused on fan-favorite character Jon Snow.
If a series is developed, Kit Harington is expected to reprise the role. The actor received two Emmy nominations for his depiction of a hero who tries to preserve his family’s morals and values in a brutally competitive environment.
During the eighth and final season of ‘Game of Thrones’, Jon Snow learned that his actual identity was Aegon Targaryen, a potential successor to the Iron Throne. He was exiled from Westeros in the series finale and traveled North of the Wall with the Wildlings to leave his former life behind. After the show’s conclusion, Harington co-starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s 2021 film ‘Eternals’.
Fans Reacted To The Spin-Off Show
Once the news of a ‘Game of Thrones’ sequel was shared on social media, fans discussed whether it was a good idea or not. While some shared their excitement, other were convinced that it would be a disaster.
Good god, it's going to be awful.

oh damn. The show's original script for the last two seasons was bad. I'm a little worried about it. but I love the "knowing nothing" Jon Snow. OK #JonSnow #GameOfThrones https://t.co/pYuyRm9Mt4
