Why Ben Affleck’s Daughter Was Missing From His Wedding
An insider source stated the reason for the absence of Violet from her father Ben Affleck’s wedding. The reason was her loyalty to her mom, Jennifer Garner. “Violet stayed home because she’s extremely loyal to her mom,” a source told Page Six. Not only that the source also informed that Ben told his ex-wife at the last minute about the wedding. “Ben did tell Jen about the wedding, but I’m told that it was only Friday at the earliest. It was very, very minimally planned in advance and was largely spur-of-the-moment,” the source said.
According to the insider, the whole reason behind this sudden marriage was to prevent Affleck from losing his nerves and backing out from making things official. “[Lopez] has been ready to get married since the night that Ben proposed,” the source added. “She wanted to lock this down and remove any chance for cold feet ASAP!”
Does Jennifer Garner Support The Newlyweds?
Many were questioning how Ben Affleck’s ex felt about him rekindling his romance with Jennifer Lopez and marrying her. A source told Hollywood Life that Garner was supportive of them. “She acted completely favorable to it and even congratulated them,” the source said. “Jennifer and Ben have been broken up for a very long time and there is no reason whatsoever that she would be upset about this. She is happy if he is sober and he is doing well, both of which he is and both of which are of utmost importance to JLo.”
