The first episode of the season brought the Tristan Thompson paternity scandal into light, and how Khloé Kardashian was affected by it.
The second episode saw the family extending emotional aid to the reality TV star. During a conversation between Kim and Khloé, Kim admitted that Tristan told the SKIMS founder about the secret proposal.

“I’m Not Excited To Tell My Family”: Khloé Kardashian On Tristan Thompson’s Proposal
The second episode of the new season of ‘The Kardashians‘ was confessional. Anyone could hit rock bottom after your partner cheats on you several times. Khloé held it together because she was welcoming her surrogate child with Tristan amidst his paternity scandal. While Kim and Khloé sat down together for a conversation, they talked about Tristan’s proposal in December 2020.
Kim, in a monologue shot, explained how she got to know about the relationship. She recalled, “I’ll never forget Tristan calling me and he was gonna propose to her on Valentine’s Day, which was a year since they had drama so this was last Valentine’s Day. And then I called him the day after and I was like, ‘Hey, I never heard anything from Khloé. Oh my god, did you propose?’ and he was like, ‘Oh yeah, I did in December.’ Oh my God, she didn’t tell us!”
The SKIMS founder expressed worry towards her elder sister due to her nature of holding things. Both sat in a conversation, and Kim asked her about the ring. “The fact that he proposed and you never told us.”
Khloé explained herself narrating her answer to the proposal, “I said, ‘I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I wanna be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone.’ ”
The Kardashian further explained why was it important, to tell the truth. “And that’s why I said, ‘I’m not comfortable accepting this right now because I’m not excited to tell my family,’ and as hurtful as that probably was for him to hear, it was the truth. I’m not ever gonna accept something or give someone false hope, and I said that to him.” Kim retorted, “I don’t know. If someone asked me [to marry them], I would have to say yes! I’d feel so bad.” That’s Kim for you!

The Good American Founder Had A Vulnerable Moment With Sister
Life is not Nora Ephron movies where we have a happy ending. Real life starts beyond that. Khloé was vulnerable and admitted that going through everything with Tristan was difficult. She confessed, “The hardest part about it all is training yourself to un-love, someone. This was my life for six years. And we weren’t just a couple, we genuinely were best friends. He was my workout buddy, we did all these things together.”
Khloé further explained the difficulties while moving on. “And so learning how to undo all those things, takes time. Just because someone does you dirty doesn’t mean you fall out of love with them instantly,” she added.
