Donald Trump Under Fire For Using Foo Fighters’ Song For His Campaign Without Permission

Donald Trump has found himself in another tight spot as he got accused of using a song by the Foo Fighters without the band’s permission. The band has issued a statement about Trump not having their consent for the use of their music.

This happened after Beyonce also called out Trump for using her song ‘Freedom‘ without her permission, followed by Celine Dion who also didn’t like him using her popular song ‘My Heart Will Go On‘. Here’s everything the ex-President is facing and saying as fresh allegations surface.

At Friday’s campaign rally in Arizona, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. entered the stage to the sound of Foo Fighters’ song ‘My Hero,’ shortly after declaring he was going to put an end to his independent presidential campaign in order to help Donald Trump in a few states.

Social media users asked Foo Fighters’ official X account if they had granted Trump permission to use the 1997 song, and their response was a simple “No.”

Another spokesperson for the band said, “Foo Fighters were not asked permission, and if they were they would not have granted it.”

Earlier this week, Trump got into more trouble for using Beyonce’s song ‘Freedom‘ for his rally, and he might now be looking at legal trouble. The Rolling Stone was informed by a Beyoncé-connected source that Trump did not really get Beyonce’s consent to use the song.

The singer also reportedly threatened to send a cease-and-desist letter to the Trump campaign for making use of her song without permission.

Before that, Trump also got into trouble for using Taylor Swift’s AI images to endorse himself — something social media users pointed out, to which Trump replied, “I don’t know anything about them other than somebody else generated them. I didn’t generate them. These were all made up by other people.”

He is yet to comment on the latest Foo Fighters statement.
