“Give Me Your Reasons Why????”: Christina Applegate Reacts To Donald Trump’s Presidential Win

As Donald Trump claimed his White House victory on Wednesday, celebrities all over are reacting to his win and sending their best wishes to Kamala Harris for her loss. Most of Hollywood was in Harris’ favour and have been reacting to Trump’s win with dismay.

Christina Applegate, who actively supported Harris’ campaign, wrote a lengthy message on social media reacting to Trump’s win. The actress even urged her fans who voted for Trump to unfollow her on social media, adding in what Trump’s win means for women’s rights.

Christina Applegate took to social media to voice her concerns over what Trump’s win means for women and their reproductive rights, as she wrote, “Why? Give me your reasons why????? My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. Why? And if you disagree, please unfollow me.”

She continued, “Please unfollow me if you voted against female rights. Against disability rights. Yeah that. Unfollow me because what you did is unreal. Don’t want followers like this. So yeah. Done.”

“Also after today I will be shutting down this fan account that I have had for so many years because this is sick,” she concluded.

Jamie Lee Curtis also reacted to Donald Trump’s win on Instagram. He asserted that Trump’s win “means a sure return to a more restrictive, some fear draconian time.”

Many fear their rights will be impeded and denied. Many, minority groups and young people will be afraid. Gay and trans people will be more afraid. We know that many women will now find it difficult to get the reproductive healthcare that they need and deserve. For all those people there will be those who will help you. Me included,” he wrote.

Billie Eilish wrote on her Instagram how Trump’s win is “a war on women,” and Ariana Grande posted to her Instagram story, stating, “olding the hand of every person who is feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome today.”
