Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be facing more than just heated debates this campaign season. In a surprising turn of events, her Arizona campaign office has reportedly come under fire, sparking concerns about security for both Harris and her team.
Arizona, a critical swing state, has already been the center of political attention. And now it’s under scrutiny for different reasons altogether. Can we talk about how wild things are getting just six weeks before Election Day?
Another Week, Another Incident In Arizona
The incident reportedly took place sometime after midnight on Monday. It was discovered by staff workers who found gunshots through the front windows of the Democratic National Committee office in Tempe.
Thankfully, no one was inside at the time. But what does this mean for Harris’ Arizona stop scheduled for this Friday? Cops are now knee-deep in an investigation and beefing up security.

This isn’t even the first time something like this has happened. According to Tempe Police, this is the second reported case of criminal damage to the same office in the last two weeks. Just after midnight on September 16, the same building’s windows were shot with what appeared to be a BB or pellet gun. No arrests have been made, and police are exploring all possible motives.
Speaking about the matter, Public Information Officer Sgt. Ryan Cook said, “No one was inside the office during the overnight hours, but this raises concerns about the safety of those who work in that building, as well as those nearby.”
Things Are Heating Up Ahead Of Election Showdown
The shooting occurred just days after the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Coincidentally, he is in a virtual tie with Harris in Arizona, according to polls.
You might remember Donald Trump’s 2016 victory in Arizona, but Joe Biden flipped the state blue in 2020 by a razor-thin margin of less than 11,000 votes. So Arizona is clearly a battleground, and this campaign season, it feels more like a minefield.

Speaking of Trump, his latest brush with danger happened at his West Palm Beach golf course. A man with a semiautomatic rifle was caught lurking near the sixth hole. The would-be assassin fled the scene but was arrested shortly after.
