Donald Trump‘s election rallies have become a hallmark of hot topics. From his assassination attempts to the events and political gatherings, he’s on the top of controversies as well. Many celebrities have openly displayed their support towards their choice of presidential candidate and Donald Trump has yet another celebrity added to his list of supporters — Dennis Quaid.
Dennis recently shared his support for Trump during a rally at Coachella addressing his concerns over the need for a good representative for their country. Unsurprisingly, he sounded quite convincing this time too. Here’s what he said.
Dennis Quaid Urges Donald Trump Is A Good Representative For The Country
During his recent rally in Coachella, Dennis Quaid voiced his support of Donald Trump. The actor said on the stage, “God bless you. God bless America. I’m here today to tell you that it’s time to pick a side. Are we going to be a nation that stands for the Constitution? Or for TikTok? Are we going to be a nation of law and order? Or wide open borders? Which is it? Because it’s time to pick a side.”
Quaid even called Donald Trump his “favorite president of the 21st century.” He also drew parallels between the political scenario when Reagon was first elected and the present. For which he said, “It’s amazing how the issues of the 1980 election are very similar to what they are today”.
The ‘Reagon‘ star continued, “We were a nation in decline. That’s what they told us. Ronald Reagan came along and said, no, we’re not a nation in decline. We’re going there. And we followed him”. The actor also added, “I’m gonna ask you a question that Reagan asked America back then, and I think it’s the question that got him elected. Are you better off than you were four years ago?“
America Was Doing Well During The Tenure Of Donald Trump According to Dennis Quaid
Dennis Quaid also mentioned the advantages America had when Donald Trump was the President. He asserted that the USA was flourishing and making profits and friends around the world but now the situation is very different as compared to four years ago.
Quaid said, “Four years ago, under President Trump, we had energy. “We were an energy-independent nation. We had cheap gas. We were exporting oil to our allies and our friends.”

He continued to deliver a powerful speech: “Today, Putin is making money hand over fist, selling oil that he uses to pay for the Soviet-style comeback war that he has with Ukraine, and while we’re shutting down our pipelines over here and capping our wells, and begging Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to ‘pretty please, will you please sell us some oil? We’re kind of short right now.'”
Moreover, Quaid also credited Trump for maintaining peaceful relations between Arab countries and Israel.
