The WWE Hall of Famer added that the defeat could be difficult for the Scotsman to process, especially with it coming so close to WrestleMania. However, he noted that if anyone has the resilience to bounce back from such a setback, it is McIntyre himself.
He said, “Just because I feel like no matter what role you give Drew McIntyre, he’s gonna take it, and he’s gonna knock it out of the park, and I thought he was a hell of a champion.”
With a ray of hope in his mind, the former Harlem Heat member stated how he looks forward to seeing McIntyre involved in the title picture again in the near future and having a commendable run as champ. He further stated that even if the Ayr native fails to get in the title picture, he will always have a lot of attention, as he can do whatever he wants in the company.
Booker T added, “I’m sure the time is gonna come back around for Drew McIntyre. If not, I’m not gonna worry about Drew McIntyre or anything like that, because he can do whatever he wants in this business”.
