The Undisputed WWE Champion faces a defining challenge as he heads into his second straight WrestleMania at the top. Cody Rhodes may need to surpass even his own standards to overcome a darker, more ruthless Randy Orton, one seemingly willing to go to any lengths to dismantle his former protege.
Amid their heated rivalry, Rhodes isn’t just focused on the ring. He’s also setting his sights on Hollywood, aiming to make waves beyond WWE. In a recent conversation with Adam Glyn, Rhodes opened up about his WrestleMania 42 showdown with Orton and teased what could be his next big move on the silver screen.
Cody Rhodes Says His Next Chapter Might Be Bigger Than Wrestling

During his short interaction, ‘The American Nightmare’ revealed getting back into Hollywood and how his upcoming project looks to be worth leaving the squared circle.
Rhodes stated, “We talked about it as a juggling act the other day in the sense of, what’s the next big get and a good story to tell that’s not in the ring. It’s got to be a story that’s worth stepping away from the ring to tell.”
The WWE Champion further stated that he is waiting for the right time to reveal the project he has been working on, and the news might come sooner than expected. “There’s definitely something on the docket, I’d wait until we get a little bit closer to WrestleMania and then hopefully that’ll be something that is news for everybody.”

Cody Rhodes Believes He Will Balance His Busy Work Schedule Ahead

During an appearance on Complex Graps, Cody Rhodes opened up about balancing his WWE commitments with potential Hollywood projects. The Undisputed WWE Champion expressed confidence that he can manage both, emphasizing that such crossover opportunities ultimately benefit the company and its fanbase.
He explained how seeing wrestling stars succeed on the big screen creates a special connection for longtime fans, stating, “They’re great for the fans, they’re great for us who grew up with it, and then ‘Oh look, it’s Batista, and he’s getting the biggest laughs in the theater’, which as a wrestling fan is like ‘Yes, he did it!’.”
Rhodes remained optimistic about handling both worlds, adding, “I think it will all work out in a sense. You owe everything to WWE minus perhaps your soul, but sometimes that gets brought into question too. But I think I’ll be able to balance it.”
