Addressing why the two are currently competing as singles stars, Fenix recently spoke about the possibility of a Lucha Brothers reunion during an appearance on the RRBG Podcast. The SmackDown superstar offered a clear explanation for why the iconic duo has yet to reunite inside a WWE ring.
Rey Fenix and Penta Are Waiting For The Right Moment To Reunite

The current WWE superstar stated how he has remained optimistic so far on his singles run and mentioned how he loved to work alongside Je’Von Evans, Andrade, Sami Zayn, and even Rey Mysterio in recent AAA events.
He added, “Obviously, I miss fighting with my brother, but it’s a good opportunity to show who we are individually.”
He further added, “I think it’s a good opportunity for us as wrestlers and for the public to see something different”. As the duo has delivered some classic matches around the world, fans are eager to see them together in WWE.
Knowing this fact, Fenix revealed how he and Penta are also looking for the right moment to make their return together. “And believe me, they know that people are waiting for the Lucha Brothers, and the Lucha Brothers are waiting for the moment,” said Fenix.
