As WWE recently celebrated 3:16 Day, fans were hopeful for an in-person appearance from Stone Cold Steve Austin on RAW. While ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ didn’t show up, his latest comments about a potential return quickly sent shockwaves across social media. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the former WWE Champion opened up about the possibility of stepping back into the ring and what a return could look like.
His remarks struck a bittersweet tone for fans, offering hope of one more moment while also hinting at the realities surrounding such a comeback. Though nothing is confirmed, Austin’s words have reignited excitement, leaving the WWE Universe buzzing about what could be next for one of the most iconic figures in wrestling history.
Stone Cold Steve Austin Wants One More WWE Moment, Not Another Match

Stone Cold Steve Austin addressed the long-standing question about a potential in-ring return, making it clear that while he appreciates the interest, he considers that chapter of his career closed.
The 6-time WWE champion stated how fans have continued to ask about one more match, but he feels he is done with in-ring competition and views the requests as a sign of respect. “But yeah, I’m done…people are still like, ‘Hey, man. It would be cool to see you do something,’ I guess it’s an honor.”
He further ruled out the possibility of wrestling again, instead pointing toward the idea of returning for a memorable moment or confrontation. “No, it’d be to go back for one of those moments, not a match itch, right? But, I get the itch for certain moments, but to try and do a match, no”, said Austin.
