Elon Musk has had a turbulent 2023 since he purchased Twitter, aka X. Elon’s historic $44 billion deal in 2022 has caused a lot of harm for him. The purchase made the advertisers go away from the platform, and the subsequent deal led to a lot of bumps for the billionaire. Due to Musk’s X deal, the other ventures suffered.
Elon Musk’s space and electric vehicle ventures, Space X and Tesla, respectively, had a decent run in 2023. Musk aimed for a $2 million sale of Teslas, and it has been nearing its target. The company had a lull market in China, but its demand has increased since the low demand for EVs and other competitors pulled back from the market. However, the controversies surrounding the EV company cease to exist as a report of a robot attacking an engineer has emerged, and its reporting has angered Elon.

Elon Musk Calls Robot Attack Reports At Tesla ‘Shameful’
An attack by a robot on a software engineer caused a laceration to his left hand at Tesla’s Texas factory in 2021. A report by The Information shed light on the incident. The engineer was tasked with the maintenance of robots, which are used to cut car parts from aluminum pieces.
While the engineer was working on two non-functional robots, a third one was operational and caught the engineer; its metallic claws caused hurt and injury to him, leading to blood on the factory floor. The engineer continued to work without any prolonged leave.
Correct.
Truly shameful of the media to dredge up an injury from two years ago due to a simple industrial Kuka robot arm (found in all factories) and imply that it is due to Optimus now.

A user shared a screenshot of The Daily Mail reporting the robot incident on X. The headline read, ‘Tesla robot ATTACKS an engineer at company’s Texas factory during violent malfunction-leaving ‘trail of blood’ and forcing workers to hit emergency shutdown button.’
Elon Musk replied to the tweet, writing, “Truly shameful of the media to dredge up an injury from two years ago due to a simple industrial Kuka robot arm (found in factories) and imply that it is due to a Optimus now.”

The Billionaire Is Dragged In a Lawsuit Over Non-Payment Of Bonuses
While the controversies are tailing Elon Musk, the legal troubles have become constant for the billionaire. Elon’s troubles are rising with X as the advertisers are pulling out advertisements due to his anti-Semitic behavior. Now, the company is being dragged into court for not paying promised bonuses to current and former employees.
Twitter, aka X’s former senior director of compensation, filed a lawsuit against the company in San Francisco federal court. The company tried to transfer the case to Texas and also attempted to dismiss the case. However, Judge Vincent Chhabria has upheld the validity of the case. The judge, in his ruling, said, “Twitter’s offer to pay him a bonus in return became a binding contract under California law.”
X tried to dismiss the case because the oral contracts were unenforceable. But, as the case is filed in California, under the state’s law, the oral contracts are upheld if an “enforceable written contract already exists.” X has to pay millions in bonuses if the plaintiff wins the case.
