One of the most impressionable personalities on social media is the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. For many years, he has become a media clown due to his missteps on social media and in public. Trump has been criticized for his diplomacy, hot takes on social issues, and the 2020 post-election results debacle at Capitol Hill in January 2021.
After the Capitol Hill incident, where many Trump and Republican supporters came out in large numbers to vandalize the property. The reason was that they believed that the elections and results were rigged. Donald Trump himself fanned this speculation, and he got banned from all social media platforms to prevent further violence. He continued his social media presence via TRUTH, the app he founded. Now, on the same app, he has announced his digital trading cards, but people are mocking him for the same.

Donald Trump Introduces NFT Collection In The Form Of Digital Trading Cards
After teasing a major announcement, Donald Trump burst the excitement bubble with the announcement of his non-fungible tokens. On December 15th, 2022, Trump took it to TRUTH to announce his “Donald Trump Digital Trading Card collection”. These cards will be available for $99 and stored digitally. The decision to release the NFTs comes on the heels of an already dwindling market after FTX, the crypto biggie, went bankrupt. Celebrities are also facing fire to promote NFTs after the users filed lawsuits against them and the company, Bored Ape Yacht Club, they promoted. But, the NFTs give perks to the owners which include dinner with Trump in Miami, signed memorabilia, and cocktail hours at Trump’s lavish Mar-a-Lago abode. These are limited prizes only.
