Even though relations between Prince William and Prince Harry might be less than friendly as of now, there’s a sweet connection between the two, thanks to Prince George who seems to have acquired this particular trait from his father and uncle.
The 10-year-old prince seems to have developed a particular interest in a hobby Harry has practiced for years and William is an expert in as well. Here’s how Prince George is taking after his father and uncle.
Prince George Has Acquired A Trait From Prince Harry And Prince William
Speaking to Squadron Leader Chrissie Lacey, Prince William revealed a new passion his son, Prince George is developing, inspired by his uncle and father. The ten-year-old, it seems, has developed a passion for flying. George is a “potential pilot in the making” William says, adding that he would love to visit the base as well. The young prince has already shown his passion for aviation by going to the RAF Fairford King International Air Tattoo when he was just two years old.
This doesn’t come off as a surprise as Kate Middleton had revealed in 2016 that young George was “obsessed with planes and wants to become an air cadet”. Moreover, flying is in his blood as William previously worked as an RAF search and rescue pilot at RAF Valley in Anglesey, Wales, for three years. He has also worked as an air ambulance pilot in 2015 with East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Additionally, Prince Harry served two tours of duty in Afghanistan flying Apache helicopters and serving as a forward air controller.

Prince George – A Pilot In The Making
It’s well assured that the Prince’s passion for aviation will be well attended to by the Royal Family as William and Kate have already started lifting his passion with all things aviation. George looked enthralled during a surprise visit to the Royal International Air Tattoo at Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford last summer. The Prince and Princess of Wales also brought their children to the biggest military air display in the world in July 2023.
At the age of two and a half, the Prince made his debut at the Royal International Air Tattoo in 2016 and demonstrated his ability to recognize various aircraft parts.
Flight Lieutenant Jim Hobkirk told People, “I imagine his father has told him about helicopters, so he knew what that was called and kept saying, ‘tail rotor.’ It was good to see his technical knowledge! Some training going on early!”
