Travis Kelce‘s Kansas City Chiefs teammate Harrison Butker is getting slammed everywhere for delivering an extremely controversial speech, using sexist, anti-LGBTQ statements, leading to fans everywhere canceling the NFL kicker.

Harrison Butker’s ‘Sexist’ Speech Mentioning Taylor Swift Gets Slammed
Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is under fire for delivering a sexist, anti-LGBTQIA+ commencement speech, while also namedropping his teammate Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift.
Thrashing on working women, the football star said, “Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world. But I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.” He added that his wife’s life “truly started” when “she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother”.
Butker also added, “Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values and media all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder.“
He also used a Taylor Swift lyric to get his point across and said, “as my teammate’s girlfriend says “familiarity breeds contempt.” This happens to be a line from one of her songs ‘Bejeweled‘.
His speech has now garnered hate from millions as everyone is attacking him for his problematic statements. Here’s how fans reacted to his speech.

Fans of Swift more particularly responded to his speech and have been asking him to not associate Taylor’s music with any of his problematic statements.
Harrison has previously talked about meeting Swift and said, “She was just so humble and so gracious. I don’t think she grew up a football fan, so everything for her is so cool. Especially as a kicker, she thinks that’s amazing that I can kick the ball so far through the uprights.” He had also talked about the same lyric and had said,
“I can’t say enough great things about her,” he continued, adding that his favorite Taylor song is ‘Bejeweled,’ and he’s a fan of the line, “familiarity breeds contempt.”
