Mike Itkis is a New York City congressional candidate, running for Manhattan’s 12th Congressional District. As one of the candidates, he has brought out a very new yet unique way of campaigning for his elections. Mikhail Itkis, as his full name goes, is a cyber security expert. He is a former officer in the U.S. Military and a current politician.
During elections, most candidates show their support for a particular cause. However, this independent candidate running for New York’s 12th District took a rather unconventional approach.

Why Did Mike Mike Itkis Release His Sex Tape With A Porn Star To Kickstart His Campaign?
Candidates running for elections usually have a cause to support and show their own ways to do it. Mike Itkis in this sense, went a little overboard to show support for his cause. Gunning for the support of sex work, he is trying to legalize it and protect sex workers. Instead of the usual way of giving speeches or having demonstrations to show his support, he decided to star in a 13-minute pornographic video to show his support for the idea of sex positivity.
Itkis apparently paired up with adult star Nicole Sage to make the video and named it “Bucket List Bonanza“. After the release of the video, Itkis told in an interview “If I would just talk about it, it wouldn’t demonstrate my commitment to the issue. And the fact I actually did it was a huge learning experience, and it actually influenced items on my platform.“

The Politician’s Early Life and Family
Mikhail Itkis was born in Odessa, Ukraine. He began serving in the U.S. Military in 2009 and is currently running for the New York Congressional elections for the 12th Manhattan District. As for his personal life, we don’t really know much as he hasn’t given out any information about his family. Except for the fact that he isn’t married, which makes sense after his recent stunt with the release of his sex tape.
As mentioned in the NY Post report, Itkis describes himself as “Not married. No kids. Not celibate. Atheist” and says he is dedicated to making sexual rights explicit by “ending adultery laws” and “decriminalizing and legalizing sex work.”
