‘The Boys’ Season 5 To Introduce A New Supe Who Will Have A Pivotal Role In Prequel ‘Vought Rising’

The Boys has become one of the most popular and critically acclaimed superhero series on television. The anticipation around the show has only grown after the conclusion of season 4 leading up to the final installment of the show.

To add more to the excitement, the highly anticipated fifth and final season of the show is set to introduce a new Supe. While not much is known the casting call hints at a white superhero who will also be a part of ‘Vought Rising. Here’s what we know.

The New Supe Flyboy Is Not In ‘The Boys’ Comics

According to Nexus Point News, a new supe to be introduced in ‘The Boys‘ is expected to be Flyboy. While he is not in the comics, Flyboy can be a mixture of several other characters that are in the comics. He is described as a charismatic former combat pilot who is now struggling with addiction and haunted by his past.

Moreover, he is likely based on a minor or supporting character from the original source material. With his introduction in season 5, Flyboy is expected to play a pivotal role in the overarching story of ‘The Boys‘.

Moreover, Flyboy’s appearance in ‘The Boys’ season 5 is particularly significant. He is also slated to have a larger role in the prequel spin-off, ‘Vought Rising’

This suggests that the character has a history that connects him to the early days of Vought International. ‘Vought Rising’ is set 70 years before the events of the main series. So, Flyboy may share a history and similar decelerated aging abilities with Stormfront and Soldier Boy.

Soldier Boy Will Also Have A Major Role In ‘The Boys’ Season 5

It was also previously confirmed that Soldier Boy, the iconic character played by Jensen Ackles, will return as a series regular in ‘The Boys’ season 5. This news comes after his brief appearance in the post-credits scene of the season 4 finale. Moreover, showrunner Eric Kripke has revealed that he always envisioned season 5 as the conclusion of the series.

“From the very beginning, I wanted to wrap it out around season five,” Eric stated. Additionally, he described it as a “calm before the storm” moment, setting the stage for a climactic finale.

As one of the most powerful supes in the universe, his presence will undoubtedly have a huge impact. In addition, the introduction of Flyboy to the cast also promises to bring new challenges and threats to the protagonists. His dark past and addiction issues could make him a dangerous and unpredictable character.
