From episode 3, it is confirmed that the civil war between teams Black and Green cannot be stopped now. The first war has been waged and Daemon Targaryen has captured Harenhall. The secret meeting between Rhaenyra and Alicent did not give rise to any solutions either.

So now, Rhaenyra has to fight against her counsel to save her children first. She tasks Rhaena Targaryen with accompanying her sons Aegon and Viserys to the Vale. They are also accompanied by their young dragons Tyraxes and Stormcloud. But Rhaena is also supposed to carry four valuable but fragile dragon eggs. When the chest opens we are met with a green, a black, and a gold dragon egg along with a fourth one.

If you are thinking that the dragon eggs look familiar. Then you are absolutely right. These are the same eggs that Pentoshi merchant Illyrio Mopatis gifts Daenerys Targaryen almost 170 years later. These eggs are the ones that ultimately hatch into the formidable trio of Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion.

Those are Daenerys’ eggs,” director Geeta Vasant Patel revealed to Mashable. “All of us who work on this show are big Game of Thrones fans, so it was very exciting to shoot that scene.” ‘House Of The Dragon’ episode 3 really set up one of the most pivotal storylines of ‘Game Of Thrones’. Fans are speculating that the fourth egg might hatch and the dragon might participate in the Dance of the Dragons. However, it has not been confirmed what happens to it.
