Patrick J. Adams, the sharp-suited heartthrob who captivated the minds of millions as Mike Ross on ‘Suits‘, has just dropped a bombshell about his short detour in the superhero world.
In a recent interview while promoting his role in Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ drama, ‘The Madison,’ Adams found himself fielding the inevitable question: Is he finished with comic book adaptations after briefly playing DC‘s Hourman on ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘?

Patrick J. Adams Goes For Real Emotion In ‘The Madison‘

Since ‘Suits‘ ended, Adams has showcased his versatility in projects like ‘Sneaky Pete‘ and the upcoming ‘Young Werther.’
Now, in ‘The Madsion‘, the first three episodes of which are already streaming, he plays Russell McIntosh, a dedicated husband and father in Montana dealing with family challenges alongside Michelle Pfeiffer.
Still, that playful “maybe” leaves the door wide open. Is Adams really done with the superhero roles, or is he just waiting for the perfect role in the new revamped DCU or even in the MCU? The actor has said before that he loves the big scale and creative fun of superhero sets, and would happily take on a bigger role in the future.
However, for now, the 39-year-old seems happier taking on a more grounded role in a family drama instead of fighting off the villains in the ‘Yellowstone‘ spin-off world.
