The Boys are BACK! The wait is over. The show is returning for a third season as the second season last aired in Oct 2020. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 3. The third installment of the show will introduce some new characters.
New Trailer Is Dark And Gruesome
Amazon Prime Video debuted the new season 3 trailer. This trailer is for the Emmy-nominated superhero series during their panel at South by Southwest (SXSW) on Saturday. This action-packed teaser is set to Imagine Dragons’ new song “Bones”. This song in the trailer gives a taste of the upcoming drama for the show’s fan-favorite characters as well as the new stars who will appear in the upcoming installment. There has been a lot of fandom for this series in general and this series in particular.
The Boys Season 3 And New Animated Series
Billy, Homelander (Antony Starr), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), The Deep (Chace Crawford), and Hughie Campbell are some of the main characters (Jack Quaid). Season three will also feature Dominique McElligott, Jessie T Usher, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit. Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) is back, and it appears that he dabbled in some Compound V. This will surely help him fight the Supes, But there will be consequences. In a still from the trailer, his eyes glow a bright yellow color before he uses his heat vision.
At Saturday’s panel, which was moderated by Christian Slater. Christian Slater has voiced the character in the animated anthology series, The Boys Presents: Diabolical. The Boys cast members and showrunner Eric Kripke revealed the above details about Season 3 in addition to the trailer.
The Story Of The Boys
The satirical superhero show follows two groups of superheroes. The one group is ‘The Seven’ and the other is ‘The Boys’ who are met with mixed reactions from the general public. The show explores fame, calls to save the world, and the ways in which these personalities collide. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg are among the show’s producers.
And, fans have been eagerly waiting for the show ever since Amazon teased the season 3 premiere date with an announcement video in January. The teaser too had got a lot of positive reactions from the fan base. The series is one of the favourite amongst Amazon Prime’s Audience.
