The end is near, and ‘The Boys’ is not leaving quietly. Season 5 is not merely closing the mess; it is adding more supes to the mix who may tip the scales in a world that is already on its knees.
As Homelander is becoming a full-fledged dictator, each new face counts, and not all of them are here to save the day. So, let’s start by dissecting the newcomers that are going to make this final season even more explosive.
Bombsight

Something is unsettling about heroes from another era, and Bombsight fits that mold perfectly. Bombsight was introduced as one of the original Vought experiments. So, he carries the burden of a darker, more primitive form of Compound V.

Bombsight was not PR-polished like modern supes. He was constructed to fight. He is a combat pilot by profession, and his skills are still a secret. However, anticipate something devastating and military. Think less “hero,” more “weapon.”
What is particularly interesting about him is that he is probably related to Soldier Boy. So, we are dealing with buried secrets that may rewrite the entire history of Vought’s origins.
Teenage Kix

If you believe that young superheroes are about hope, ‘The Boys’ is there to squash that notion. Teenage Kix is literally a perverted version of the teen hero teams. It’s like youthful energy combined with carefree power and lack of moral compass.
We have already had brief appearances of members like A-Train and Popclaw in previous seasons. However, Season 5 is likely to increase that number.
Their powers are not the only thing that makes Teenage Kix dangerous; it is their instability. They are a generation that grew up in Vought’s propaganda machine, where popularity is more important than morals. That is a frightening mix in a world that is already spinning.
Marie Moreau

Marie Moreau is not only powerful, but possibly a game-changer, straight out of ‘Gen V’. Her blood power is not only visually brutal, but it is also versatile. She can heal, control, and destroy with horrifying accuracy.
Such power makes her one of the few supes who might have a chance to fight Homelander. However, here is the real question: Will she remain on the right side? Power does not come easily in ‘The Boys’, and Marie’s moral compass will be put to the test.
Annabeth Moreau

Annabeth introduces another type of power into the equation: foresight. Her precognitive powers imply that she can glimpse into the future. This is a huge advantage in a war where every action matters.

However, there is a twist. Being aware of the future does not necessarily imply that you can alter it. And in ‘The Boys’, such knowledge can be a curse more than a gift. Her relationship with Marie is also emotionally charged. It is not only about saving the world but also about family, redemption, and second chances.
Emma Meyer

Emma may appear like comic relief on the surface. However, shrinking and growing as she pleases is no jest in this universe. Her abilities make her ideal for infiltration, sabotage, and surprise attacks. And when Homelander is said to be establishing prison camps, a person like Emma holds great value.
Don’t underestimate her. Strategy and stealth may be the real difference in a show where brute strength is not always the solution.
Jordan Li

Jordan Li is something new on the battlefield. Jordan is unpredictable in the best (and worst) sense because he/she can switch between forms, each possessing its own strengths. They have already been established in ‘Gen V’.
However, Season 5 will more than likely take the game to the next level. Fighting with resistance leaders like Starlight will force Jordan into larger, more dangerous fights. And in a war where survival depends on flexibility, Jordan might be one of the smartest assets on the board.
