The most forsee season of ‘The Boys‘ recently concluded and left fans hanging on many questions, which will be answered in season 5 of the show. One of the characters that got a little bit more spotlight this time was Colby Minifie’s Ashley Barrett.
The show concluded with many unexpected things including Ashely taking Compound V. Apart from this, Valrie Curry shared a funny incident that took place with Colby during the shooting and she had to improvise it.
Colby Minifie Improvised A Scene For Ashely In The Boys
During an online interview with Entertainment Weekly, Valrie Curry who plays the role of Misty Tucker Gray, better known as Firecracker in the show talked about her favorite scene in season 4 of ‘The Boys.
The actress shared a scene, where Colby Minifie’s character Ashley just had to leave the room and her stilettos happened to be caught in her dress and she couldn’t leave the room.
But Minifie being a professional didn’t break her character and that’s where she improvised the scene. Minifie started to arm crawl out of the room with her stilettoes also trying to get through the closing door.
Valrie was amazed by the improvisation and it’s one of her favourite scenes for this season. Furthermore, Minifie also agreed that it was the funniest scene to shoot. Moreover, the scene didn’t make it to the cut, hence Colby had to request ‘The Boys’ showrunner Eric Kripke to add the scene to the series.

Ashely Barrett’s Fate in ‘The Boys‘
In the eighth episode of the show, Ashley injects the superpower liquid aka Compound V from Homelander’s secret stash. The following step comes after she realizes that she is damned and has a lot of dirt on The Seven.
Ashley takes the Compound V to get superpowers like others but it seems like things have gone north. She was able to take in the dose which also opened the doors of her being a threat to either side of the fight in the final season.
This also leaves fans with questions about her abilities and potential. The following episode wraps around one of the major plots of the next season which shall also decide the fate of Ashley Barrett.
