In October 2009, STAR Magazine revealed photos of Linley drunk and wild at a party. The actor was 19 at that time, sparking discussions regarding underage drinking. The incident was highly controversial at the time.
Some believe this was the reason why Disney removed the actor from his role as Jake Ryan in ‘Hannah Montana’. There has also been speculation that Miley Cyrus did not support this decision.
Fans Didn’t Like The Abrupt Ending Of The Character

It was a bittersweet ending.”
However, we all loved how Miley’s arc finally turned out.
