After Aegon’s forces took King’s Landing, Ormund continued the fight in the Reach. At Tumbleton, Ormund’s forces initially routed the Black army, but their success came at a steep cost.
In the battle, Lord Roderick led his warriors in a desperate charge, cutting through Ormund’s men until he reached him. Before Ormund could react, Dustin struck, but Ormund’s cousin, Ser Bryndon Hightower, blocked the blow, losing his arm in the process. However, Dustin fought on, slaying both Ormund and Bryndon before succumbing to his own wounds.
