When Did Hisoka Become Interested In Gon?
Hisoka became interested in gon during the Hunter exam. It was during the travel in the forest before the second stage of the exam. Hisoka had captured Leorio and Gon went to rescue him. Hisoka saw the fire in Gon’s eyes and decided that he wanted to fight him.
His interest started border lining on obsession during the fourth stage where Gon had to steal Hisoka’s badge. He got more interested in him. In the heavens arena as well as Greed Island, Hisoka saw the growth in Gon’s abilities and his obsession grew.
Why Is He Interested In Gon?
When Hisoka first saw Gon, he understood the enormous potential he possesses to develop into a top-tier Nen user. Because of this, he never even considers killing Gon, whether he has a chance to do so or not. He also fought Gon in Heavens Arena and he still didn’t kill him. This was because he thought Gon’s potential was not used to its full limit and he wanted him to realize that potential.
He saw Gon’s growth in nen during the dodgeball match in Greed Island. He saw Gon’s nen technique and his abilities. After that particular match, he became even more determined to fight Gon when he grew more assertive.
Hisoka goes the extra mile. He is prepared to kill anyone who attempts to kill Gon. Case in point, Hisoka went against Illumi Zoldyck because he wanted Killua to save Gon. He heard about Gon’s adult form and wanted to fight him and he could not do it if Gon did not heal properly.
Hisoka considers Killua to have great potential as well. The only reason he does not act with him, in the same manner, he does with Gon is because of Illumi. He is well aware that Illumi would kill him if he ever touched Killua. Illumi got extremely mad when Hisoka asked if he was allowed to Killua and he does not want to lose Illumi as an ally.
This is the reason why Hisoka is interested in one of the protagonists of Hunter X Hunter. Fans are also waiting to see the fight between them both.
