Characters in the ‘Hunter x Hunter’ universe employ a variety of amazing skills collectively known as Nen. Simple skills like Uvogin’s Big Bang Impact, which enables him to focus aura into his fist for a strikingly improved blow, are among these powers. They also have intricate and inventive moves such as Knuckle Bine’s A.P.R. and I.R.S., which will essentially wipe you out using the might of the economy.
These are some of the most effective Nen moves to get featured in anime series in 2011. There are several more uncommon ones as well as heavy hitters like Gon’s Limitation Transformation and Meruem’s Aura Synthesis. Let us read about the top Nen abilities in the Hunter X Hunter World.

10) Feitan Porter- Rising Sun And Inferno
Feitan Portor is a member of the Phantom Troupe. He may seem quiet and shy but his nen abilities are anything but. He once unleashed two deadly methods, the Rising Sun, and Inferno. He used these techniques against Zazen and the chimera ants.
Inferno follows as he becomes enraged. Feitan can change his aura into a small sun by using the Rising Sun. The intensity of its heat depended on how badly he had been injured before calling it forth, but even a weaker version will burn his opponents and anyone else unlucky enough to be nearby.
9) Hisoka – Bungee Gum
Hisoka is a former member of the phantom troupe and is one of the strongest yet creepiest characters in the anime. He uses two techniques, Bungee Gum and Texture surprise. Using Bungee Gum, he may change his aura to have the characteristics of both rubber and gum. He may utilize it to swiftly throw projectiles back at his enemies as well as stop them.
Hisoka’s famous Bungee Gum is a formidable weapon, but his Texture Surprise makes him such a wily foe.
Using this Conjuration-based method, you can imprint several different patterns on flat surfaces. In one instance, Hisoka transforms a prophecy into an uncertain horoscope to temporarily allay Chrollo Lucilfer’s concerns about his intentions. Texture Surprise is a fantastic trick for fooling people, and Hisoka is eerily adept at using it.
8) Knuckle Bine – A.P.R. & I.R.S.
One of the more innovative skills in the series is Knuckle Bine’s signature move. Knuckle gives his opponent access to his aura by using A.P.R. While A.P.R. is active, neither Knuckle nor his opponent deals damage to the other; instead, they merely exchange aura, which the opponent uses when they make an attack. While they are within 50 meters of Knuckle, the interest in that aura rises by 10% every 10 seconds.
When his adversary is no longer able to pay their debts, they “become bankrupt.” They enter I.R.S as a result, which prevents them from using Nen at all for a month. Whilst this technique is less effective against opponents with large aura banks, it is still one of the most formidable and frankly annoying techniques.
7) Killua- Godspeed
Although Killua’s Godspeed appears to be a simple super speed technique, it is considerably more intricate. He can use electricity to automate his reaction time, overcoming the constraints of his neurological system and preventing hesitation.
He can now move at 149.1 mph thanks to it, and he is now free to use his electricity for harmful purposes. This was proven when he stopped the dart from killing him using his aura and instincts.
6) Gon Freecss – Limitation Transformation
The most horrifying event in Hunter x Hunter is Gon’s Limitation Transformation, which is also a very effective Nen move. Gon was able to channel all of the strength he would ever possess during his whole existence into a single moment by making a vow. When he learned that Neferpitou was unable to treat Kite, he took this action out of desperation, grief, and a desire for vengeance.
He was able to overcome the seemingly unbeatable Royal Guard thanks to this, but it also nearly wrecked his body and rendered him unable to wield Nen. Fortunately, Alluka’s yearning for healing allowed him to be spared such long-lasting effects.
5) Zeno Zoldyck – Dragon Dive And Dragon Head
Given that he rarely plays by the rules, Zeno Zoldyck is an impossible challenge to face in combat. When Zeno uses his Dragon Dive, he can cast thousands of tiny fragments of his vast aura at his target, each of which causes colossal damage when it lands.
Zeno expands his aura in the shape of a massive dragon from his arm using Dragon Head. He can use the dragon for a variety of purposes, such as a projectile weapon and a mode of transportation. He can fight with less risk to himself because he can still control the dragon with Dragon Lance even when he isn’t very close to it.
4) Pitou – Specialist Powers
Neferpitou possesses several extraordinary skills in two different areas. The first is healing: despite being spooky, her Dr. Blythe approach can effectively treat even the most fatal of wounds. Pitou cannot utilize any other methods while Dr. Blythe is in action, which is the one negative.
Watch out though when those other methods are in use. Pitou may utilize Nen to puppeteer any entity so that they will automatically carry out her commands. She may drastically improve her power and speed by using Terpsichora to connect a puppet to herself. She can even continue to be a formidable opponent after she has passed away.
3) Chrollo – Skill Hunter
Chrollo is the leader of the phantom troupe and for good reason. He is a specialist and has an extraordinary ability called Skill Hunter. By using this ability he can steal someone’s nen ability and make the previous user unable to use it.
Although he can only steal abilities when certain conditions are met, he can steal anyone’s ability which makes him dangerous. Even the great Zeno and Silva Zoldyck were on their guard during their battle with him.
2) Chairman Netero – 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva
Chairman Netero is an enhancer but his nen, 100-type Guanyin Bodhisattva includes various other nen categories as well. He uses prayer to summon the goddess and hits his opponent with some of the hundred hands the goddess possesses. The reason why this ability is so formidable is that the hands move very fast and the user is barely able to see them, let alone dodge them.
Meruem, the chimera ant king was barely able to see the attacks despite being the king. Another reason is that this technique has no notable weakness or loophole. Meruem cut off Netero’s hands in hopes of him being unable to pray but it was useless. The rose is also a surefire way to kill an opponent.
1) Nanika – Wish Granting
If there is any ability stronger than Netero’s, it would have to be nanika and its wish granting. Alluka Zoldyck is possessed by an entity known as Nanika (sometimes translated as “Something”) who has a strange capacity to fulfill wishes, even though Alluka Zoldyck herself does not utilize any Nen. People are asked for things by Nanika. She can grant any wish after three of those requests have been granted.
The following set of requests, which are made of the next person to make a wish, can range from asking for a pat on the head to asking for someone’s brain, depending on the kind and intricacy of the original wish. If the requests are not granted, both the individual making the request and their nearest relative will pass away.
The person the would-be wisher spends the most time with will be the first to pass away, followed by everyone even remotely connected to them, if the desires are more significant. Although this Nen power is mighty, it can rapidly spiral out of hand.
Killua found the loophole to the request things but that just makes this ability more dangerous. Nanika would not ask for requests if the person orders her to do something rather than ask. For instance, Nanika did not ask anything when Killua asked her to kill their mother if they did not leave the Zoldyck estate within 30 minutes.
