A much-waited crossover is ready to hit the screens. ‘The Simpsons‘ Death Note parody will be a part of this year’s Simpsons Halloween special, the ‘Treehouse of Horror XXXIII‘. With the fusion of an animated sitcom and a global hit anime, there is nothing more the fans have wanted.
The Halloween special episode of ‘The Simpsons‘ is released every year around the time of the holiday. And this year would be marking the 32nd edition of this holiday special. ‘The Simpsons’ Death Note Parody: Release Date And Time
The special episode will see the characters in a complete anime makeover. The show will also feature Lisa, Homer, Krusty, and Marge, among other characters from the long-running animated series. The special episode, ‘Death Tome‘, will air on October 30, 2022, at 8 pm EST on all Fox stations. And on October 31, the episode will be able to stream on Hulu. It is DR Movie, the studio that animated the original Death Note anime, that has worked ‘The Simpsons‘ Death Note parody episode. This Halloween special will pay tribute to the highly-acclaimed psychological thriller anime. The teaser and screenshots of the parody were released earlier.

What More Is There In the Halloween Special?
The Halloween special has three episodes. The first episode, titled ‘The Pookadook‘, will pay homage to ‘The Babadook’, and the third episode will be a ‘Westworld’ spoof titled ‘Simpsonsworld‘.The public is excited about the parody and received it positively.
The first footage when released had taken the internet by storm. The early scenes show Lisa walking through a busy street with a piped-up frustration towards the world. She focuses her displeasure on animal cruelty, corruption, and pollution. “The human race is 20 cow farts away from total extinction, and we deserve it,” Lisa says in the teaser. A notebook then suddenly falls in front of her that says “Death Tome”. “Any person whose name is written in this DEATH TOME will meet their death…and be DEAD,” the character reads the notebook, adding, “You must specify how the victim will die, and you may NOT kill the same way twice.” As the teaser ends Lisa wards off the book as a prank.
