Oscars 2024 Winners List: ‘Oppenheimer’ Bags Best Picture, Christopher Nolans Wins Best Director, Cillian Murphy Is The Best Actor

The curtain is finally falling on the 2024 awards season with the 96th Academy Awards taking center stage at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Hosted once again by none other than charismatic Jimmy Kimmel, the star-studded evening is marked with anticipation, glamour, and history-making moments.

Oppenheimer’ led the nominations with 13 nods in different categories and won Best Picture, with Best Actor In A Lead Role and Supporting one going to Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. respectively, while ‘Poor Things’ closely trailed by with 11 and ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ with 10. The spotlight also shone on first-time nominees among the 20 performers in acting categories, including Colman Domingo, Cillian Murphy, and America Ferrera.
