Escanor from the ‘seven deadly sins‘ is one of the most popular and well-liked characters in anime. However, he has a very strange weakness, which is darkness. Escanor gathers his energy from the sun and is almost invincible at noon, however, he can not be powerful at night when there is no direct sun.
9) Ranma
Ranma from’ Ranma ½‘ is one character that has a very strange weakness. Ranma fell into some hot springs on a trip with his father and ever since then, he turns into a girl the moment he touches cold water. He can turn back to a guy with hot water. This is one of the weirdest weaknesses in anime.
8) Natsu
Natsu, along with the other dragon Slayers save for Wendy suffers from motion sickness. This motion sickness is a side effect of learning dragon Slayer magic and it cannot be cured. It was witnessed during the grand magic just how bad this problem is when Sting, Gajeel, Natsu, and Rogue couldn’t clear a stage because of it.
7) Luffy
Luffy has the weakness of not being able to swim. This weakness comes due to him eating a devil fruit and it ails everyone who eats the fruit. No matter how good a swimmer the person was before eating the fruit, they can never swim post eating it.

Goku is a Saiyan and comes from the planet Vegeta. Much like a dog, Goku’s weakness is his tail. Regardless of Goku’s Strength, he could be immobilized if someone grabbed his tail. Onyx from ‘Pokemon‘ has a water weakness. Being a rock-type Pokemon, he is already weak when it comes to water, but Onyx is a bit more affected by this issue. This was proven when all Pikachu did was turn on the sprinklers and Onyx became immobilized.

Kyo from ‘Fruits Basket‘ is a very handsome and cool character but he has a weakness. He can turn into a cat when he is Hughes by someone from a girl. This rule doesn’t apply to girls who are a part of the 12 zodiacs. This is why it is one of the weirdest anime weaknesses.

The demons from ‘Demon Slayer‘ are amazingly powerful and cruel. But they do have one weakness and that is sunlight. No demon, even Kibutsuji Muzan, can walk in sunlight. They will get burned and die. This is why it is one of the weirdest anime weaknesses.
2) Aoyama Yuga
Aoyama Yuga has one of the weirdest anime weaknesses as his quirk itself is his weakness. Yuga can shoot a powerful blast from his navel, but cannot activate the power for long as he suffers from stomach and abdominal pains thereafter.

‘Inuyasha‘ is one of the classic romance and action anime and it centers around a character called Inuyasha who is extremely powerful. However he has a weakness, when Kagome, a small human girl shouts ‘sit’, Inuyasha practically faceplants into the ground. Despite his overwhelming power, Inuyasha cannot resist that one command.
