Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy, is sinking deeper in trouble as the sexual assault allegations against him continue to mount. He has already stepped down from his chairman role at Revolt. The move comes after several brands and tags have already severed ties with him.
R&B singer Cassie Ventura and three other women have made sexual assault and physical violence allegations against Combs. A total of about leading 18 brands have officially cut ties with his platform Empower Global, as a consequence.

Brands Choose To Support Victims Who Made Allegations Against Combs
The brands have said they have considered the gravity of the allegations against Combs and have taken the step to support the victims who have come forward.
Annette Njau, the founder of luxury fashion brand House of Takura, said, “We take the allegations against Mr. Combs very seriously and find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable. We believe in victims’ rights and support victims in speaking their truth, even against the most powerful of people.”
Other brands also said the same thing as Takura, stating that they find it imperative to respect all people, irrespective of their gender, ethnicity, or age. This comes as a major setback for the singer, especially when there was ample excitement about the recent launch of his platform ‘Empower Global‘ in July.

Combs’ Platform Sees Downfall After Recent Launch In July
The singer had reportedly invested over $20 million into the platform. He had also gotten the limelight for his platform as he projected it as an empowering Black-owned business. The initiative was highly celebrated during its launch but the allegations have had an exact opposite effect on the graph of the platform’s success.
However, some other brands have cited that the platform has a lackluster performance and they are therefore severing ties with the platform.
The founder of a high-end footwear company, Rebecca Allen, had partnered with Combs’ brand but said the sales saw a significant decline and she had therefore decided to cut ties with the platform even before the allegations against Combs emerged.
