JoJo Siwa Compares Her Latest Magazine Shoot To Harry Style’s Vogue Dress Shoot
JoJo Siwa recently appeared on the Talk Tuah podcast hosted by Hailey Welch, who is also known as the “Hawh Tuah Girl“. During the interview, Welch talked about Siwa’s recent photo shoot for Lady Gunn, during which Siwa wore a silver-golden bulge which was a whole new experience of gender bend for her.
While fans have received her style statement a bit skeptically, Siwa clarified she did not take it personally. The ‘Karma‘ singer said, “It’s brutal. It’s really hard,” she added, “People are just d—s.”
Further describing her experience, Siwa said, “The stone bulge is — we were just giving a little spice, a little gender-bend, a little, you can be anything you want to be. It just was spicing myself up a little.”
She also compared her cover to that of Harry Styles’s controversial Vogue cover. “It’s like back in the day when Harry Styles wore a dress,” Siwa continued. “Obviously, wearing a bulge is a little different than wearing a dress.”
JoJo Siwa Says She Admires People Who Are Different And Stand Out
JoJo Siwa and Harry Styles have a lot of similarities. They both don’t bother about the negative criticism when it comes to their fashion sense. Harry Styles has gone beyond the binary standards of clothing, flaunting a dress like a man very secure with his masculinity. His unusual dressing sense has as many fans as its haters.
Styles also owns a nail paint brand called ‘Pleasing‘, further proving that he sees make-up and grooming as something more than just what women wear. Previously Harry has also expressed his views on the clothes, saying, “Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with. What’s exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away.”
Further speaking during an interview for the Vogue cover story, he said, “When you take away ‘There’s clothes for men and there’s clothes for women,’ once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play”.

JoJo Siwa also praised Harry for his unapologetic confidence. “One thing about me is I like to be for the people that are different, the people who don’t fit in, and for the people who are just unafraid to take risks. And I feel like being that person, I have to go as far as I possibly can into the risk,” she said.
