Emma Roberts Reveal Details About Her New Project With Kim Kardashian
After sharing an internet-breaking kiss on ‘American Horry Story: Delicate’, the newly hit pair of Emma Roberts And Kim Kardashian is back with another project. Emma And Kim are set to come together again, this time, as co-executive producers in a Netflix show called ‘Calabasas’.
Emma was speaking with SiriusXM’s The Spotlight With Jessica Shaw when she talked about the upcoming project. “Kim and I are executive producing a show for Netflix called Calabasas. We have the amazing Marlene King, who did Pretty Little Liars, as our showrunner,” the actress said.
She also added, “I’m obsessed with her and Pretty Little Liars. I remember seeing that show and being like, ‘I wish I was on that show.’ It was just so cool and so fun.” As for the plot, Roberts has her lips sealed.

“I Mean, There’s Not Really Much I Can Share”: Emma Roberts Keeps The Plot Under Wraps
The news about the project was first reported by Deadline back in April, though it did not name the celebrities at the helm. It claimed that “two major” people are involved in the bidding, and that ‘Calabasas‘ will be based on Via Bleidner’s book ‘If You Lived Here You’d Be Famous by Now‘.
The book is based on funny, warm-hearted stories about coming up of age in Los Angeles suburbs. The ‘Daily Best‘ called it as “An unfiltered, thoughtful and witty insider’s perspective on the suburb that birthed the Kardashian-Jenners and the Bling Ring.”
Moreover, Deadline also shared a few plot details about ‘Calabasas’, revealing that the book is based on a high schooler, who is thrust from the midwest to Calabasas High, “where nothing is as it appears and where everyone is trying to be someone else.”
Both Robert and Kardashian have previous experiences with production and acting. Emma was previously an executive producer of the 2022 Netflix series First Kill’ and the 2022 Hulu series ‘Tell Me Lies’. Meanwhile, Kim has produced various episodes of her family’s show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘.
