Amber Heard Leaves U.S. With Her Friend Who Was Thrown Out Of Courtroom During Johnny Depp Trial

Hollywood actress Amber Heard is out and about in the world. The actress decided to go on a vacation and spend some quality time in Israel with her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard. She was spotted dining at a Tel Aviv cafe last week with one of her staunchest supporters, journalist Eve Barlow, who was even barred from testifying for Heard in the Johnny Depp defamation trial.

An Israeli journalist took to social media and shared the picture on her Twitter account on August 2. Amber and Eve can be spotted grabbing lunch together in it. They were dining at an outdoor restaurant.

The picture of the duo came a day after Amber was photographed pushing an empty stroller in Tel Aviv. The actor, who welcomed her first child via surrogacy in April 2021, was apparently exploring the city with her daughter Oonagh Paige Heard. She was also joined by her friend Eve Barlow, who has made controversial statements in favor of the ‘Aquaman‘ actress.

After Depp’s attorneys discovered Barlow tweeting and texting from the front row during the trial, which is reserved for attorneys, she was expelled from the Fairfax, Virginia courtroom in April.

However, during the Fairfax County Circuit Court trial, Barlow continued to tweet unceasing messages of support for Heard outside of the courtroom. The former deputy editor of the revered music publication NME and a contributor to New York Magazine has denounced Depp supporters as misogynists and abusers. Online, Barlow has been viciously attacked by Depp backers.

The star has been doing quite the sightseeing in Israel. Recently, she visited JC Halper Book Store in the city. The author shared the account of Amber’s vacation on his Facebook account. Posting a picture of the actor from his bookstore, he wrote, “Say what you want about Amber Heard, (and what little about her was negatively influenced by the media as well), the person who browsed my store last Tuesday for almost an hour, with her toddler baby girl and a couple of friends, was a modest, polite, friendly, inquisitive self-effacing customer with high literary tastes. In fact, I had no idea that it was her until she presented her credit card. She is also now the proud owner of my book The Bibliomaniacs and promised to send me feedback on it.”

Since her high-profile court case, Heard has kept a low profile. On June 1, Depp obtained a $10.35 million judgment against her following a six-week, nationally televised trial. That made the most private aspects of the feuding ex-couple public.

The actress was found guilty of defaming her ex-husband in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. In it, she had claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse. The jury panel also gave Heard $2 million in her countersuit. Both parties have stated that they will challenge the judgment.
