Andrew Scott To Assume A Pivotal Role In Third Part Of ‘Knives Out’
Andrew Scott is set to take on a pivotal role in the highly anticipated third part of the ‘Knives Out‘ film franchise. Scott will be starring alongside the previously announced cast members including Josh O’Connor from ‘Challengers‘ and Cailee Spaeny from ‘Priscilla’. Daniel Craig will reprise his role as the eccentric detective Benoit Blanc.
The creative mind behind the first two films of the series, Rian Johnson, will also write and direct the third installment. Johnson is also producing the film with his T-Street partner Ram Bergman. Production for ‘Wake Up Dead Man‘ is expected to begin soon, with the film’s release scheduled for 2025.
The plot details or the story narrative of the film remains under wraps, though both Johnson and Craig have hinted that this will be Benoit Blanc’s “most dangerous case yet.”
Rian Johnson has been vocal about his excitement for the upcoming part of the film. He recently took to social media to share his excitement. “I love everything about whodunits, but one of the things I love most is how malleable the genre is. There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies,” he said in his social media post.
