Andrew Tate, the controversial influencer and former kickboxer who is famous as ‘Cobra’, has been released from house arrest in Romania. Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate have been charged with rape and human trafficking there.
While the brothers await trial, Andrew has pleaded his innocence in a statement following his release from house arrest.

Andrew Tate Released From House Arrest Between Rape And Human Trafficking Trial
Andrew Tate is currently facing charges for rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women in Romania. Apparently, the content was to be pornographic, to be used on platforms like OnlyFans. On August 4, Tate’s appeal to be released from house arrest was granted. He is still awaiting trial.
Now that the Tates are free from house arrest, they can go about in, Bucharest, the Romanian capital and their residential area, Ilfov district. However, they have to inform the police if they change their address. Under no circumstances can they contact the alleged victims or their families. They are restricted from approaching the witnesses also. If they fail to follow these rules, house arrest will be imposed again.

Tate Maintains His Innocence In The Case
Andrew Tate gained notoriety for his racist and misogynistic views. He has a massive fan following. Upon his release from house arrest on Friday, he denied the rape and human trafficking charges and told the media, “I see lots of girls sticking up for me, lots of people defending me, I’ve not seen a single person stand up and say that I have hurt them, not one.”
He further added, “We’ve been completely innocent since the beginning of this, and I have to give absolute faith to the Romanian judicial system for finally making the right decision and letting us free. I’m sure in the end we will be absolutely exonerated. I’ve done nothing wrong, God knows I’ve done nothing wrong, in my heart, I know I’ve done nothing wrong. I look forward to being completely exonerated in due time.”
