There may be another Johnny Depp-Amber Heard celebrity divorce battle on the way! In recently acquired court documents, Angelina Jolie has made explosive allegations against her former partner Brad Pitt. The revelations are related to the 2016 infamous plane fight that made Jolie file for a divorce.
In September 2022, Angelina’s legal force filed a lawsuit alleging that the actor is cutting her off from the Château Miraval. This lawsuit came after Brad Pitt filed one when Angelina sold her stake from the Miraval Wines without consulting Brad or his team. Now, in the new countersuit, the actress has given horrifying details about the 2016 flight.
Angelina Jolie Alleged That Brad Pitt Attacked Their Children
The custody and divorce battle is taking an ugly turn for the former power couple. The two tied the knot in 2014 at their now disputed wine farm. In 2016, the actress filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, and after three years the two attained the single status legally. They have six children – Knox (14), Vivienne (14), Shiloh (16), Zahara (17), Pax (18), and Maddox (21). The former couple is still fighting for custody of the minors amidst many lawsuits regarding the winery.
However, new developments in the battle are not pleasant. As per the documents obtained by various news outlets, during the 2016 flight from France to California, Jolie alleged that “Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face.” She also made claims that he grabbed her head and pushed her against the wall. While Pitt was assaulting one of the children, Angelina tried to mediate, but he pushed her on the flight’s seat injuring her elbow and back.
The children rushed to help their mother, but Pitt “choked one of the children and struck another in the face.” However, the assault had not ended there. The court filing continued, “with nowhere to go and to avoid Pitt’s wrath, Jolie and the children sat still and silent under the blankets.” None of them even dared to go to the loo. Pitt used to come back and “yell and swear at them. At one point, he poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.”

The Actress Falsified The Mutual Consent On Winery Shares Sell Claim Of Brad Pitt
In February 2021, Brad Pitt sued Angelina Jolie for selling her shares in the Miraval Wines to Tenute del Mondo, part of Stoli Group. As per the actor’s claims, he and his company have a right to refuse any sale and the actress moved on with the deal without Brad’s consent. In June 2022, he then accused Angelina of selling the shares to a rival company. In his assertions, he told a media outlet, “Jolie pursued and then consummated the purported sale in secret, purposely keeping Pitt in the dark, and knowingly violating Pitt’s contractual rights.”
As per her latest countersuit, Angelina asserted that Pitt’s “the premise” that “the couple ‘impliedly’ agreed they would never sell their respective interests” in the winery without each other’s consent is false.”
She further claimed that, to date, Pitt “does not explain why this critically important right was never discussed or reduced to writing.” She pleaded in court for the confirmation of the non-existence of any such consent claims. Jolie further appealed for “a temporary restraining order, a preliminary injunction, and then a permanent injunction as necessary to enforce Jolie’s rights.” The actress appealed for Brad to cover the legal fees relating to this lawsuit, and for monetary relief from the court that it thinks is “just and proper.”
