Kanye West and his erratic behavior are at their peak right now. It started out with Ye wearing the controversial ‘White Lives Matter‘ shirt at the Paris Fashion Week. He then went on to make anti-Semitic tweets which led both Twitter and Instagram to restrict his account.
The ‘Donda‘ rapper’s behavior has been called out by many people including Gigi Hadid. Now, the CEO of Endeavor Ari Emanuel has urged companies to stop working with the 45-year-old musician. Let’s find out what exactly Ari said amid the rising instances of hate spread by the West.

Ari Emanuel Asks Companies To Stop Working With Kanye West
It seems that people have had enough of Ye’s tantrums and his thinking that he can get away with saying anything. Several people are calling out his anti-semitic and problematic views. In an op-ed for the Financial Times published online Wednesday, the Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel has asked companies like Apple, Spotify, and Adidas to cut ties with the controversial rapper due to his recent statements.
“West is not just any person — he is a pop culture icon with millions of fans around the world,” Emanuel wrote. “And among them are young people whose views are still being formed. This is why it is necessary for all of us to speak out. Hatred and anti-Semitism should have no place in our society, no matter how much money is at stake.”
He also wrote that West can be forgiven if he feels remorse. “We are all capable of learning and evolving, and if West would like to be educated about the history and consequences of anti-Semitism and the conspiracy theories he’s parroting, if he wants to reach out to religious leaders — including rabbis, Muslim leaders, Christian leaders — I’d be happy to help.”
Ari called out the companies that still continue to associate with West. “Those who continue to do business with West are giving his misguided hate an audience,” he added. “There should be no tolerance anywhere for West’s anti-Semitism. This is a moment in history where the stakes are high and being open about our values, and living them, is essential. Silence and inaction are not an option.”

George Floyd’s Family Sues Ye For $250 Million
Just when we thought Ye would stop after the controversial tweets, he topped himself again. Ye claimed that George Floyd was killed by a fentanyl overdose, and not because of police brutality.
In 2020, Mr. Floyd died after police officer Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for nine minutes in Minnesota. The footage of the incident showed him saying that he cannot breathe. It led to a massive resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Floyd’s family has sued Ye for $250 million for “harassment, misappropriation, defamation and infliction of emotional distress“.
The episode featuring Ye was removed from YouTube and other platforms after the outrage, but the Floyd family’s lawyers said the “clips of the rapper’s rant continue to be viewed and shared on social media platforms by millions across the globe“.
