One of the character traits of Krabs is that he is greedy and obsessed with money and does not like spending it. He, however, cares for his daughter and often does anything for her happiness. The character is a single father and has been well-received by critics and audiences.

How Did He Die?
In 2021, a report stated that Krabs had died all of a sudden. The viral pdf document called the Trial of SpongeBob SquarePants describes that he is found dead in his restaurant with his throat slit open. An autopsy concludes that it was caused by a metal spatula that was found near his body.
There was also a sign of blunt-force trauma on his back and the greasy floor also had footprints of Spongebob. The cash register was empty and the secret recipe for Krabby Patty was also missing.
Since the document went viral, people have suggested that Plankton, the owner of Chum Bucket or Plankton might have killed Krabs. However, all this was just a rumor and our beloved character appeared in its 13th season.
