Mac Miller And Ariana Grande’s Relationship
Ariana Grande and Mac Miller had a long and beautiful relationship. One that was loved by fans. Their friendship began when they worked together on the song “The Way” in 2013. They became closer over time, and in 2016, they started dating.
After two years of dating, they parted ways in May 2018. According to reports, it was because Grande was finding it increasingly hard to deal with Miller’s drug abuse. Sadly, a drug overdose tragedy led to Mac Miller’s death on September 7, 2018.
Ariana Grande was devastated by his passing since she had been a pillar of support in his life. She had been outspoken in her concern for his welfare while he struggled with substance misuse.
Later she mentions him in the song ‘thank u, next’ saying, “Wish I could say “thank you” to Malcolm. ‘Cause he was an angel.”

Ariana Pays Tribute To Mac Miller In New Song
In March 2013, Ariana released “The Way,” featuring Mac Miller. It was the lead track from Ariana Grande’s first studio album, “Yours Truly.” Ariana Grande and Mac Miller’s chemistry and the song’s catchy tune contributed to its commercial success and fans loved the song.
It was the couple’s first-ever collaboration. and the song was about being in love and feeling infatuated with someone in a pleasant and flirtatious manner. The music includes a sample of Brenda Russell’s “A Little Bit of Love,” which gives the production of the song a sentimental and soulful touch. Mac also appeared in the music video for the song.

Now a decade later, as Ariana released the deluxe and remastered versions of a lot of her songs from the debut album, she has also put out “The Way”.
She honors Miller by writing the words “Feat. Mac Miller” in the video, which glows in white at the end, in a visual of the new version of the song that she shared on her YouTube. The musical arrangement that was in the original has been replaced with an orchestral string part in this updated version, which also includes Miller’s second rap stanza. Otherwise, the song is the same.
