Currently, Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon are busy promoting their upcoming Netflix film ‘Your Place or Mine’. However, there are certain unsaid things between them. The actors are currently the butt of the internet jokes due to their awkwardness on the red carpet.

The internet is having a good time trolling Reese and ‘That 70s Show’ star for their paparazzi pictures. During the promotional events, the two have been posing clumsily for the media. Even Mila Kunis has reprimanded the two in a fun manner over their recent pictures and how uncomfortable they look. Now, Ashton Kutcher has responded on why the two are looking uncomfortable.

‘Your Place or Mine’ is a few days away from its release date and the film is already creating buzz. The film stars Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon are working together for the very first time. Though Reese has known Mila for a long time, she had not hung out with Ashton.

The Netflix film was a good opportunity to do so. The actors had a good time working on the film as per their admission, but the chemistry seems lacking on the red carpet and at promotional events.

Ashton came on the ‘Chicks in the Office’ podcast and clarified why the pictures are seeming awkward. He said, “Here’s the thing: if I put my arm around her, and was like all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her. Like, the rumor would be that I’m having an affair with her”.

He continued, “If I stand next to her and put my hands in my pockets so there’s no chance that that could be the rumor, then the rumor is we don’t like each other. Reese and I are really good friends; we’re really close. I don’t have to defend that”.

Another reason for those awkward pictures, as per the actor, is the chaos that paparazzi can create that makes one hard of hearing. Kutcher said, “I don’t know who’s calling my name, but I know there’s a lot of people yelling, ‘Reese! Ashton! Over here!’ If you’re gonna tell me, in that entire 20-minute period, at one point you’re not gonna have an awkward face on, then you’re better than I am and I’m cool with that”.
